Onboarding Instructions
Complete Prior to first independent shift
This training is required for Employees hired in January-March and June-December and must be completed within 30 days of hire. Please review the slideshow and videos in this folder and be prepared to complete quizzes. Much of this will be also be covered in your Orientation and Shadow shifts. Employees hired in April or May may be allowed to skip some sections. Kristin will work with you on your individual training plan.
You will be paid a STIPEND for the following sections:
- Onboarding Stipend = $75
- OSHA Stipend = $25
- Mandatory Reporter Training Stipend = $25
- Sexual Harassment Stipend = $25
ICP Instructions
Complete Prior to first independent shift
Medicaid requires that all caregivers are trained on the Individual Protocols and Plans for each of our participants. You must go through ALL of the current ICPs and complete the quizzes within 30 days of hire based on your job description (If you are working just at MP1 - complete all kids marked PP or CES as well as all Teens. If you are working JUST with T/A please complete all Teens and Adults). When NEW clients are enrolled, you will be notified to complete the new protocols.
You will be paid a STIPEND of $1 per completed ICP quiz.

Overview of Waivers
The material in this course should be reviewed by all Employees and is paid a $10 stipend upon completion.
Annual Review Instructions
Complete Prior to our May Training session
This training is required for ALL Employees and must be completed prior to our Annual May Training OR you will need to complete it in person with Kristin Email all certificates to kristin@megansplacellc.org and send an email when ALL sections of training are complete.
You will be paid a STIPEND for the following sections once ALL are completed:
- Playground Safety = $5
- Toileting = $5
- OSHA = $25
- HIPPA and Confidentiality = $10
- Care and Support for Members with Mobility and Physical Disabilities = $10
- Communication = $10
- Professionalism/WIW reminders = $15
- Sexual Harassment Training (new hires after 4/1/25 and then bi-annually) $25
Med Admin Directions
Medication Administration at Megan's Place - a practical application (to be taken after QMAP)
This course may be taken by staff aged 18+ with direction from the Director and permission from our RN. This course is meant to cover Megan's Place procedures and protocols that are to be followed when administering medications. This course, coupled with completion of QMAP and delegation will allow you to administer meds at MP. The steps to be able to administer medications at Megan's Place are:
1. You must have completed a recognized QMAP course and your name be searchable on the CO QMAP database.
2. Complete all materials in this course in order.
3. After the online portion is complete, you will meet with our RN for the practical portion including demonstration of medication administration, measuring, and documentation.
4. Lastly you will work with a Lead Staff and have them complete the Observations sheet.
